About Me
I’m Matt Nelson, illustrator, webcomics creator, and graphic designer. I have an eye for outrageous character and creature design, and a desire to tell stories through art.
My current comics project is Catbeard the Pirate, an all ages comedy-adventure series. Catbeard is a self-published series, funded through multiple successful Kickstarter campaigns.
I am available for cover and interior work, and am especially interested in doing work for middle grade readers.
I have experience in graphic design for book covers, advertising and other illustrative work. My specialty is illustration with a humorous bent, but I have a wide range of styles.
